GECU
Therapy

Client: General Electric Credit Union
Agency: St. Gregory Group
Video Concept: Therapy – TV Campaignn
Production: Yellowhaus Studio

We have been fortunate to work with various advertising agencies throughout Cincinnati.  Over the years they have trusted Yellowhaus to collaborate on ideas and concepts for their clients.  In this case, we worked with St. Gregory Group to deliver a unique take on a therapy session for their client at GECU.  We all have our issues with banks… and this campaign brings that to light in a comical way as patients vent their frustrations with our very own “Dr. Marty.”

Shot over the course of 3 days at a gorgeous historic mansion just outside of Dayton, OH – we transformed a residential library into a phycologist’s office.  Nearly 200 auditions allowed us to cast a group of talented actors across a total of six scripts.  From a directorial standpoint, we wanted to give our talent the freedom to improvise, yielding a wide variety of comedic takes (all while “Dr. Marty” tried to keep a straight face).

COOL FACT: The mansion location was built by Ohio Governor James Cox.   Not only did it provide the perfect location for our scenes, but with 9 bedrooms, a spacious kitchen and a pool (with a slide!) it provided a homebase for us, our crew and, of course, “Dr. Marty” who came in from Atlanta for the gig.
