InterFaith Video Series

It’s no secret that religion is a dividing essence in people’s lives.  Much like politics, wars have been started, families have been split and innocent people have perished because of religion. 

So in these uncertain times, Yellowhaus worked with several faith-leaders from diverse backgrounds to inquire about a commonality between these faith groups.  If we are truly looking for solutions to what ails our society today…why not start with the folks teaching and preaching to the people.

For the InterFaith Film Series, we interviewed a Buddhist teacher, a Christian Pastor, a Rabbi, a renowned Muslim author and Chair of Islamic studies and a Catholic Priest.  A round table of faith and fragility, if you will. 

Covering topics from Hope to Compassion to Justice the leaders shed an interesting light on how they receive and choose to react to uncertainties that surround our faiths, and our every day lives. 

COOL FACT: This project actually started four (4) years ago when Joe Kay walked into our office with an idea and a grant from interfaith community leaders.  We concepted ideas (yes, one of them being a priest a rabbi and an Iman walk into a bar…) and laid the groundwork for the series.  Once the interviews were complete and we had the film series edited, a town hall was held at UC featuring the film series, the faith-leaders and a Q&A with audience members.
